Crimson Engine
In Crimson Engine, the vampire doesn’t just collect blood. No, he drags his prey—people, animals, whatever unfortunate thing wanders too close—into the tower’s hellish maw with this... invisible rope. Yeah, like a force, a pull, straight from his will. There’s no escape once it’s got you; you feel the tug, and you’re done. The machine? It’s hungry—always.
You fly around, pulling bodies through the air, right into the bloodthirsty machine. It grinds them up, fueling the dark fog that creeps out, wrapping around the tower like a suffocating blanket. The more you feed it, the thicker the fog gets, blotting out the sun, protecting you, but also—uh, I mean—it screams for more. There are knights trying to stop you, but they can’t. The tower demands.
Blood is the only fuel that matters.
